Account Manager

This is a unique opportunity to get involved in the dynamic and expanding world of Online Marketing. Banana Ads is seeking an energetic Account Manager. If you like you like a work-hard, play-hard environment, this is the place. The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting a book of business through the promotion of Banana Ads services. These services include Search Marketing, E-mail Marketing, Lead Generation, Affiliate Marketing, Display Marketing, Mobile Marketing and Social Marketing.

The ideal candidate will identify and close new online marketing advertisers through careful prospecting and negotiation. The Account Manager will report directly into the SVP of Sales. This position provides a competitive base salary, with a very attractive revenue based performance bonus opportunity. Core Responsibilities:
Optimize existing campaigns and offers to increase acquisition rates and overall revenue
Assist with revenue generation and client retention strategies
Maximize revenue by growing existing client business through the development and/or implementation of new campaign strategies
Manage regular contact with clients regarding campaign optimization, growth strategies and other relevant information
Collect, maintain, analyze and report information, on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis, related to AC/AR
Act as day-to-day client liaison with advertisers
Strong ability to multitask
Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of clients business, as well as current industry knowledge
Maintain/build existing client relationships by consistently providing exceptional service
Build and maintain strong internal relationships with internal stakeholders: creative, affiliate management, accounting, and sales managers
Assist in the development of comprehensive strategies with clients on an annual, seasonal and on-going basis
Provide added value to client business through seamless execution, innovative solutions and progressive ideas


Affiliate Manager

This is a unique opportunity to get involved in the dynamic and expanding world of Online Marketing. Banana Ads is seeking an energetic Affiliate Manager. If you like you like a work-hard, play-hard environment, this is the place.

We are looking for a results oriented individual with an understanding of online media and account management. As part of our affiliate team, the Affiliate Manager's primary role is to work with our VP of Network Distribution to actively seek out and manage Affiliate and Publisher partner relationships in order to assist in further expanding our domestic and international network.

Core Responsibilities:
Work with existing online affiliate clients including Media Agencies, Social Media companies, Search Engine professionals, etc. to buy their web traffic and promotion efforts for our advertising clients on a CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) basis.
Recruit new affiliate publishing partners.
Manage partner needs including, offer setup information, campaign reporting and tracking.
Work with sales managers to assist in optimization efforts and overall campaign performance.
Ability to communicate with accounting, technology and sales to ensure partner needs are met in a timely manner.

Desired Experience:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing/Advertising or 2 years of previous work experience in that field
Strong written and communication skills
Basic Knowledge of internet-based marketing initiatives
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, & PowerPointv
Results driven, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently


Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating a book of business through the promotion of Banana Ads' services. These services include Search Marketing, E-mail Marketing, Lead Generation, Affiliate Marketing, Display Marketing, Mobile Marketing and Social Marketing.

Sales/Marketing Development:
Ability to identify, prospect, and close new online advertisers
Establish and manage relationships with existing client advertisers
Consult with clients on their marketing needs
Manage the contract and insertion order process to ensure that all paperwork is properly competed
Manage the campaign setup process to ensure campaigns are setup quickly and accurately
Act as first point of contact to clients and address client needs as needed
Cultivate relationships with clients, gain deep insight into their business and ultimately provide
solutions to their marketing and advertising goals.
When requested, negotiate with advertisers to improve rates and payment terms
Collections and invoicing reconciliation
5 to 10% travel

Media/Publisher Development:
Campaign management, pricing, creative and general collateral
Build and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of the online advertising & affiliate marketing ecosystem
Provide feedback to the company on how to best service clients' needs
Communicate with the Affiliate Managers to help promote campaigns
Maintain the highest level of customer service
Provide reports on a weekly basis on all activity
Attend and participate in all sales related team meetings

Desired Experience:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing/Advertising or 2 years of previous work
Min 1 to 2 years experience in online sales or equivalent sales experience
Affiliate sales a definite asset
Strong written and communication skills
Results driven, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently
Confidence to make cold calls
Organized and efficient follow up
Salesforce.com or similar CRM experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
